Last month I attended the March for Life in Washington D.C. It was amazing. I have never seen so many people in one place. We started on the National Mall and then walked down Pennsylvania Avenue to the Supreme Court.
I flew up to D.C. fro New Orleans, and marched with my sister who lives in Arlington. I was pleasantly surprised to see two enormous groups from Louisiana and New Orleans, with whom we marched much of the way and prayed a rosary.
I would guess that there were 300,000 to 500,000 marchers there. I wish there were a way to get an official count. Maybe there should be an app that geolocates and counts all who use it that day.
I am astonished, but not surprised, that the mainstream media still does not report on this. I wonder when they realize that a culture of life will mitigate the violence and unrest across America, such as what happened in Ferguson last year.
There was no time given to it on Face the Nation or Meet the Press. How can you ignore hundreds of thousands of people?
